aside for the proven superior
performance capability of Bell
helicopters has also meant
more efficient and effective
maintenance management.
Indeed, all of our helicopters
undergo periodical engine
overhauls using standards
that are often more stringent
that those of the
manufacturer.
With the re-liability of the Pratt & Whitney PT6-T Series Engine PT. National Utility
Helicopters has been granted by the manufacturer a fleet escalation for the PT6-T Series
Engines from 4,000 hours TBO to 4,500 hours TBO this fleet escalation was granted on
only one (one) sample engine being run for 4,000 hours without removal from the
helicopter.
PT. National Utility Helicopters uses specialized equipment such as the rads at and vibrex
2000 to carry track and balance of the rotor systems on all its helicopters PT. National
Utility Helicopters also carries out periodical Boroscope inspections on all Pratt & Whitney
Engines.
PT. National Utility Helicopters also carries out periodical in situ cleaning of fuel nozzles
on all PT6-T Series Engines.
